580 Candy Canes

A group at Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School recently took the initiative to show some love to the 6th-formers in their school and make themselves visible this Christmas. They bought a massive 580 candy canes and attached labels with a short message reading “The Christian Union would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas!”, as well as a Bible verse taken from John 10:10. They also included an invitation to their CU meetings with a date, time and place, and they also took it one step further and got all the names from each form and wrote them on the labels! This is a great example of a group who are giving their “bread & fish” to God, and we believe with them that God is going to multiply their giving. We want to encourage you to take a step of faith too, and look for opportunities to spread the love of Jesus in your school.
