Bake Book on NG+Posted: 26 Sep 11 | By: Jacob Klapwijk
Who doesn’t like free food?
That’s why we’ve put a Bake Book on NG+. It’s a little booklet for you to print, filled with recipes for outreachers. There’s a lot of good things about handing out cookies or cakes here are just a few.
1. Everybody likes it. I’m pretty sure it’s hard to find someone who doesn’t like a good homemade brownie, cookie or scone. By handing them out with the CU you’ll be sure to put yourself on the map in the school.
2. It’s easy. The recipes in our Bake Book are easy to follow, even the worst cooks can bake some pure awesomeness in no-time.
3. It’s cheap. Flour, eggs, milk: all not the most expensive groceries. With these and a few more ingredients you can bake loads of different things. We’ve included estimated prices in the Bake Book, so you’ll know how much to budget.
4. It’s a great outreach. One thing is better than a cookie: a cookie with a great bible verse attached to it! Write notes and hand them out together with the cookies, and you’ll make an even bigger impact on your school.
I could go on, but I’m going to leave it at this. Just head over to NG+, download the Bake Book, and get baking! But don’t forget to clean the kitchen afterwards.
