Faith, Hope & SchoolPosted: 31 Oct 11 | By: NG Team
This years first group training day was a huge success!
We were in the idilic city of Canterbury for our first training day, Faith Hope School. We met with young people, youth leaders and schools workers to spend a day talking about how young people could creatively live out their faith in school. It’s a highlight of the year for those of us who work with New Generation. We met young people who are doing an amazing job of living out their faith. They had so many great ideas and stories of things they have already done. The day was kicked of with waffles, followed by interactive sessions, a chat show, testimonies, quizzes and lots of good food.
Faith Hope School is an amazing opportunity for any young person who is looking to be inspired, but also receive practical instruction about how to lead a vibrant Christian group in a school or college. So, if you’re curious or you are a CU veteran, our training day is something you really shouldn’t miss. If you are a youth worker or pastor, we’d love to have you there too. If you have anyone in your youth group that you know could benefit from this type of event you are very welcome to be part of the day.
The next Faith Hope School will be held in February. We will be sending out more info about this soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
