New Generation Turns 10

New Generation has now been running for over 5 years here in the UK, but our Swedish siblings have just turned 10, and it’s time to celebrate! For 10 years NG Sweden has been inspiring, empowering, equipping and supporting young people to do prayer & outreach in their schools and colleges, and all we can say is that, so far, it’s been quality.

Hearing stories of young people coming to Christ through ‘hug squares’, post-it notes, and chocolate bars, not to mention prayer and even Guitar Hero has been really inspiring. God has used young people from all backgrounds and denominations to bring his love and to schools across the world ranging from Her Majesty’s educational institutes to schools in Russia, Germany and as far afield as New Zealand.

So to celebrate, the guys at New Generation Sweden planned two major events this year.

Go! Europe
The first one was ‘Go! Europe’, a 2 week tour of Europe stopping in Holland, France, Switzerland Germany and the UK. With 2 busloads of passionate Swedish teenagers, the tour brought social action initiatives, multimedia preaching, inspirational videos, superb electro worship and lots of fun in between (Hashtag livefruitninja anybody?) With UK stops in Midlands and the North, the tour was a huge success.

Check out the photos from both UK events at:
To find out about the other major event, which is just a few weeks away, come back tomorrow for more news from New Generation headquarters.
