Wired Bristol

Last Saturday was Wired, our training and inspiration day in Bristol. This was the first time we had Wired in the Bristol area, so we were really excited to see it happen. Both the Team from Manchester and Brad and Richard from the Central Base were there. There were several schools represented and it was so amazing to meet them and hear what they had been getting up to. One group had only started in September but had already raised money to support a charity fighting against human trafficking and had also arranged several debates in school about faith and science.

Esther, one of the young people who attended said, “I had an awesome day! I got so many ideas of different ways of reaching out to my friends in college. It was a real encouragement to me to keep going with my own outreach and missions because it is important for me to stand up for my faith. It really boosted my confidence.”

As usual the day was full of prayer, teaching, games, interactive tasks and competitions, not to mention all the food we had; waffles, pizzas and plenty of snacks! It was definitely a fun filled day but more importantly we got to meet more young heroes who are sharing their faith in their schools and colleges.

The next stop for Wired is Manchester! This is also you’re last chance to experience this training day so if you’re in the area make sure you don’t miss it!
